JK Comedy Club Leicester Square is set inside the Grade II listed Grosvenor Casino - Rialto — originally the 1913 Rialto cinema — on Coventry Street, two minutes from Piccadilly Circus tube. It’s the home of our Saturday afternoon show. With tickets at £15 it pairs a proper West End setting with the affordable, high-energy comedy JK is known for, and it’s a favourite for date nights and weekend comedy. Our Leicester Square Venue: The Rialto
JK Comedy Club Leicester Square is located upstairs at the Grosvenor Casino - Rialto on 3-4 Coventry Street, London W1D 6BL — a Grade II listed building originally opened in 1913 as the Rialto, one of the West End’s first cinema theatres. The building features French Renaissance-style architecture and has been a landmark on Coventry Street for over a century.
After decades as a cinema, the building went through several incarnations including a Fashion Cafe and a Chicago Rock Cafe before Grosvenor Casinos converted it into its current form, carefully preserving the original theatrical decor. Our comedy shows take place upstairs, surrounded by touches of the building’s cinematic past — including original architectural details and old movie star portraits on the walls.
Getting Here
The venue is on Coventry Street, directly between Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus — a two-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus tube, and a few minutes from Leicester Square. It is right in the heart of the West End, surrounded by theatres, cinemas, and restaurants. The Trocadero, Chinatown, and Haymarket are all within a two-minute walk.
Finding the door: Go in through the Grosvenor Casino's main entrance on the north side of Coventry Street, under the lit "Rialto Casino & Bar" canopy, halfway between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. The comedy room is upstairs inside the casino — you don't need to be a member, but bring photo ID.
