Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 September 2026

These terms apply to every ticket for a JK Comedy Club show, whether you buy it on this website, through Ticket Tailor, on the door, or through any other ticketing platform. By buying a ticket you agree to them. Shows are run by JK COMEDY CLUB LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16937455), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Questions: [email protected].

1. Tickets and prices

  • A ticket is valid only once the full advertised price has been paid. Prices are shown per ticket; a £1 booking fee per ticket is added at online checkout.
  • If a ticket is listed at an obviously wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund it in full.
  • Tickets are for the show, date, time and venue shown on them. Please check all four before you complete your booking.

2. Refunds, transfers and cancellations

  • Tickets are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, we will always offer a free transfer to another show or a voucher for the value of your tickets. The full policy is on our refund policy page.
  • If we cancel, postpone or move a show, or change its start time or venue, you can choose a free transfer or a full refund.
  • If a show cannot go ahead for reasons outside our control (including government restrictions on live events, venue closure, or severe weather), we will offer a transfer or a full refund of the ticket price. We are not liable for travel, accommodation or other costs.
  • Transport strikes do not cancel a show. Shows go ahead and tickets are not refunded because of a strike.

3. Lineups

  • Lineups are announced in advance but can change at short notice because of illness, TV or radio commitments, or travel. When an act drops out we replace them with a comedian of similar standing.
  • A change to the lineup is not grounds for a refund or transfer. If you are booking to see a particular act, email us first and we will tell you what we know.

4. Arrival, latecomers and seating

  • Seating is unreserved. Arrive when doors open for the best choice of seats; doors times are shown on every show page.
  • Please be in the room before the show starts. If you arrive after the start, your seat may have been given to someone on the waiting list. Latecomers are admitted at the discretion of the showrunner, usually at the next break, and no refund or transfer is offered for a late arrival.
  • Shows may run over their advertised finish time. We are not responsible for a show running late.

5. Age and ID

  • All shows are 18+. Our venues are licensed premises and cannot admit anyone under 18, including babies and children.
  • Bring valid photo ID. You may be asked for it regardless of how old you look, and you will not be admitted, or refunded, without it.

6. Groups

  • Groups of any size can book online and, because seating is unreserved, sit together.
  • Groups of 10 or more: please email [email protected] after booking so we can hold seats together for you.
  • A group is responsible for its members. A group that repeatedly disrupts the show may be asked to leave as a whole, without a refund.

7. At the show

A comedy club only works if everyone can hear the jokes. During the acts we ask you to:

  • keep conversation for the breaks;
  • keep phones away, and never film or photograph the acts – comedians are often trying new material and a clip out of context can cost them work;
  • let the comedians do the talking. Heckling is not part of the night, and repeatedly shouting out spoils it for the people around you.

We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove from the venue, any person or group whose behaviour is likely to disrupt the show or cause a nuisance to other customers, performers or venue staff. No refund is given to anyone removed. Venue staff may also apply the venue’s own entry conditions, including bag or security checks.

8. Filming and photography by us

We photograph and sometimes film our shows for promotional, marketing, social-media and archive use, and a photo or clip may include members of the audience. If you would rather not appear, tell the showrunner when you arrive and we will seat you out of shot.

9. Gift vouchers

  • JK Comedy Club gift vouchers are redeemable against any show at any of our venues, can be used across several bookings until the balance is spent, and do not expire.
  • Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

10. Private bookings, dinner packages and Christmas parties

  • Private events, venue hire, corporate bookings and Christmas party bookings are non-refundable once confirmed. Rescheduling may be possible subject to availability; contact us as early as you can if plans change.
  • Dinner & Comedy packages are booked with our partner restaurants. Menu choices, dietary requirements and changes to numbers need at least 14 days’ notice; late arrival at the restaurant may mean you miss part of the meal, with no substitute or compensation. The restaurant’s own terms also apply to the meal.

11. Your details

We use the details you give when booking to contact you about that booking, for example if a show changes. We only send marketing if you have asked for it. How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for personal property lost or damaged at a venue. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
