Tickets and prices

How much are tickets?

Tickets start from £7. Monday shows are £7, Tuesday and Wednesday shows are £10, Thursday and Sunday shows are £12, and Friday and Saturday shows are £15. Covent Garden runs five nights a week and matches those prices; Soho, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus each run their own nights. A £1 booking fee per ticket is added at checkout.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Yes, if the show isn't sold out — card only, at the door price for that night. Booking online is cheaper and guarantees your seat, and our weekend shows regularly sell out.

Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable, but if you can no longer come we will always offer a free transfer to another show or a voucher for the value of your tickets. If we cancel or change a show, you can choose a transfer or a full refund. Full details on our refund policy.

Can I exchange my tickets for a different show?

Yes. Email [email protected] with your booking reference and the show you would like instead. We run shows every night of the week, so there is always another date.

Do gift vouchers expire?

No. A JK Comedy Club gift voucher never expires, works for any show at any of our venues, and can be spent across several bookings until the balance is used up.

Before the show

What time should I arrive?

Doors open 30 minutes before the show at Soho, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, and an hour before at our Covent Garden venue, the Arboretum. Seating is unreserved, so the earlier you arrive the better your choice of seats. The doors time is printed on every show page and on your ticket.

How long is the show?

About 90 minutes including a 15-minute interval, so a 7pm show finishes around 8:30pm and a 9pm show around 10:30pm. Our Covent Garden shows at the Arboretum are longer: between 90 minutes and two hours with two short intervals, so an 8pm show finishes between 9:30pm and 10pm.

Is there an age limit?

Yes — every show is 18+. Our venues are licensed premises and cannot admit anyone under 18, including babies. Bring valid photo ID: you may be asked for it whatever age you look, and you cannot be admitted or refunded without it.

Is seating reserved?

No. Seating is first come, first served, and every ticket holder who is in the room by the start of the show is guaranteed a seat. Groups sit together simply by arriving together.

Is there a dress code?

No. Wear whatever you are comfortable in.

Who is performing?

Every show has a host and four professional comedians, including acts seen on Live at the Apollo, Comedy Central and Netflix. Lineups are announced on Instagram @jkcomedyclub. They can change at short notice because of illness, TV filming or travel — when that happens we replace the act with a comedian of similar standing, and a lineup change is not grounds for a refund.

At the show

Is there a bar?

Yes, at every venue. Buy drinks before the show and at the interval and bring them into the room. Our Covent Garden venue, the Arboretum, has a full bar inside the venue: drinks are served before the show and during the two intervals, not while the acts are on.

What happens if I arrive late?

Please be seated before the show starts. If you arrive after the start, your seat may have gone to someone on the waiting list. The showrunner will let you in at the next suitable break if there is space, and no refund or transfer is offered for a late arrival.

Can I film or photograph the show?

Please don't. Comedians are often trying new material and a clip out of context can cost them work. Keep phones away during the acts. We photograph and sometimes film shows ourselves for our social media — if you'd rather not appear, tell the showrunner when you arrive and we'll seat you out of shot.

Can I heckle?

It's not that kind of club. Our hosts chat to the room and you're welcome to join in when they ask, but shouting out over an act spoils it for everyone around you and gets you asked to leave. Full house rules are in our terms and conditions.

Are the venues accessible?

Our Soho, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus rooms are reached by stairs, so unfortunately they have no step-free access. For our Covent Garden venue, the Arboretum, email us before booking and we will confirm the access details for your needs. A carer accompanying a disabled guest comes free — email [email protected] and we will hold a suitable seat.

Groups and occasions

How do I book for a group?

Book the number of tickets you need online — there is no minimum spend and no group limit, and seating is unreserved so you sit together. For groups of 10 or more, email [email protected] after booking and we will hold seats together for you. For a private show or full venue hire, see private bookings.

Can we come as a stag or hen party?

Yes — a comedy show is a great start to a big night out, and the West End is on the doorstep afterwards. See our stag and hen party pages. The same house rules apply to every group: a party that repeatedly disrupts the show is asked to leave as a whole, without a refund.

Can we do dinner and comedy?

Yes. Our Dinner & Comedy packages pair a meal at a partner restaurant a short walk from the club with any JK Comedy Club show, from £22.50 per person.

Do you do Christmas parties and corporate events?

Yes — book a group into any show, or hire a whole venue for a private show. See Christmas comedy and private bookings. Private and Christmas bookings are non-refundable once confirmed.

Getting there

Where are the venues?

All four are in the West End, within a few minutes' walk of Leicester Square, Covent Garden, Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus tube stations. Addresses and directions are on our locations page and on every show page.

Is there parking?

Nothing at the venues themselves, but the NCP car park on St Martin's Lane is a short walk from all four. The tube is easier: every venue is within five minutes of a station.

What if there is a tube or rail strike?

Shows go ahead on strike days and tickets are not refunded because of a strike. Every venue is in central London with plenty of buses and walking routes, so plan a little extra time.
